Ailytic to explore decision improvement using IIoT and AI at National Manufacturing Week 2018

#

Following on from a hugely successful Melbourne event in 2017 which attracted more than 10,000 attendees, National Manufacturing Week 2018 will feature more than 200 exhibitors and 40 manufacturing industry experts as part of the conference program. NMW 2018 is once again set to be the manufacturing event of the year.

Among highlights at this year's speaker line-up are the topical Industry 4.0 Theatre and Business of Manufacturing Theatre programs, in which industry leaders will explore the impact of digital transformation, innovative design, and business management within the manufacturing industry.

As part of the Industry 4.0 Theatre line-up, James Balzary, CEO of Ailytic, will explore how can mature facilities and smaller manufacturers an adopt a process that leverages the latest from Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technological approaches, and apply it to capital equipment already in place.

He will also draw heavily on the experiences of the last kitchen sink manufacturer in Australia which is charging ahead of its competitors in digitising its 25 year old facility. The successful merger of both IIoT and AI were integral to increasing efficiency and ensuring the survival of the organisation.

James’s experience in the industry presents an impressive foundation to his speech which will be invaluable to attendees who are searching for advice and ideas on how to best implement technology from IIoT and AI into their business.

James has spent the last 14 years in complex enterprise software environments across a broad range of industries and geographies with a focus on automation and execution systems, supply chain planning, scheduling and optimisation for discrete, batch and process industries.

Attendees are encouraged to partake in the Safety First Conference & Expo, and Inside 3D Printing Conference & Expo, both co-located with NMW 2018.

Registrations have now opened for the free-to-attend NMW 2018 for anyone with a professional or commercial interest in manufacturing. To register, visit www.nationalmanufacturingweek.com.au.
