AIP Victorian Branch will be running a technical dinner on the 13th May at Box Hill Golf Club with speakers from Coles, Visy and PIQET.

The speakers for the evening will be Adam Robinson, Senior Packaging Technologist, Coles Brand, Rob Costelloe, General Manager Sales & Business Development, Visy and Tim Grant, PIQET Product Development Manager and Director, Life Cycle Strategies.

FIRST 100% RECYCLED AUSTRALIAN PLASTIC WATER BOTTLES.

Adam Robinson (Coles)  and Rob Costelloe (Visy) will be talking through the huge undertaking that Coles, Visy and Mountain H20 undertook to launch Australia’s first water bottle made from 100% recycled Australian plastic. This case study will trace back to the decision Visy made in investing in producing food grade recycled plastic through to the partnership with Coles in launching these ground breaking bottles here in Australia.

Tim Grant will talk about why PIQET are moving rapidly to include the impacts of product when looking at packaging design. Tim will outline two approaches being considered and use case studies to show the influence these could have on net packaging performance.
