2014 Premier's Sustainability Award Winner - Fieldtech Solutions -

urges others to enter this year

Fieldtech Solutions won the Innovative Products or Services category at the 2014 Premier's Sustainability Awards for replacing imported non-sustainable plastic products with its own manufactured sustainable products.

For short life disposable plastic items, biodegradable versions are produced and long life items are made from recycled practice.  The biodegradable products made by Fieldtech Solutions will be gone in a few years when disposed to landfill, while non-biodegradable plastics may last for hundreds of years.

John Mancarella, Director, Fieldtech Solutions is now encouraging  other sustainability groups to enter the 2015 Premier's Sustainability Awards.

"Fieldtech Solutions is proud and honoured to be awarded winner of the Victorian Premier's Sustainability Award 2014 for Innovative Products or Services," says John.

"We hope that winning this award highlights the problem of excessive plastic waste in our industry and in our society. We hope other companies will also start to target this problem and we together can make a real difference.”

Sustainability Victoria CEO, Stan Krpan, congratulated the Fieldtech Solutions team for their innovative work, saying they were an excellent example of leadership in sustainability.
